Big East Tournament Preview: Semifinals

Before we look ahead to the semis let's take a look back at the quarterfinals and what was a terrible day for the high seeds and especially Syracuse, which may have lost much more than a game. I think the conference will seriously have to reconsider the double bye after this. After 3 days of picks I'm sitting at 6-6, while Jason is 7-5 and Pete is 7-5. I do get bonus points for having my sleeper team still alive and getting the upset pick right. With that said time to look back at the quarterfinals and ahead to the semis in what has been a surprising Big East Tournament.

Wright, Georgetown beat Syracuse in third meeting

Chris Wright isn’t the first name that comes to mind when preparing for the Georgetown Hoyas. The hard-nosed point guard often takes a back seat to Greg Monroe and Austin Freeman in the game plan. Today, though, the stage belonged to Wright, and the lights couldn’t have been brighter.

Swat Baseball continues spring trip

Swarthmore baseball continues it spring trip down in Arizona as they took a single game against Pitt-Bradford on Tuesday but dropped double-headers on Wednesday and Thursday to Wesleyan and Pitt-Bradford. The trip concludes with a single game against Wesleyan on Friday at the Padres spring training facility in Peoria, AZ.
