Player Bio: Steele Divitto has been playing football since he was in 7th grade. He was an all-around linebacker who played OLB and defensive end for his high school Don Bosco Prep. He had 78 tackles, 8 sacks and a fumble recovery this year. He will be playing football at Boston College next and is really looking forward to it.

It is a great honor to be here especially since only 45 players get selected throughout the nation. When you’re described as one of the nation’s elite it’s pretty special to me.

This was the third practice we’ve had so far. It’s been going very well the coaches here are very friendly. I’m learning about different coverages, which is good. It’s nice to meet some new people.

I think the team will really start coming together throughout the week. There are still some people who are acting as individuals but I think they’re starting to recognize that we need to come together as a team.

The coaching style is a little different. I was fortunate to go to a high school that had an outstanding program but it’s going to be different where ever you go.

Being a part of this game is a great opportunity; I get to play against great competition and greatly skilled kids. I really want to take back some great memories with me and a win.

One of the biggest challenges this week will be the competition. There are some really good linebackers out there so I need to make sure I can stay at the front of the pack.

I haven’t seen the World team so I’m not really sure what they have for talent, but I think we have a pretty hard-nosed group. My coaches at home always stress whoever has the toughest team wins, so I think we have a good chance.
