It feels awesome to be selected for team USA. Everybody in my hometown was congratulating me and it’s been great. I’m really excited to play in the USA vs. World game on Saturday.
We had our first practice today, and so far everything is going well. We still have a few wrinkles to work out, but I’m sure the other team does as well. We’re going to through them in the next couple of days and were going to be good.
We got here on Monday the 25th so we only have a week to get to know each other. I think you can already see our team coming together though, and we’re all getting to know each other both on and off the field. I think that everyone will get along and be able to play very well together.
I know that this experience is going to be great and it would be awesomeif we have a memorable football game on Saturday. It would also be nice for Team USA to win!
I think the biggest challenge this week will be the game on Saturday. It will be a little tough to go in having the right set of mind, especially since I haven’t played in a while.
I’m not sure how we’ll match up against the World Team because I don’t know what talent they have, but we are all confident and excited, so I think we’re going to do very well.
