What's up, guys and girls?  This is Chris talkin' to ya.  I want to introduce all of you to my beautiful bride-to-be, Kenetria Richardson.  She's been reading my "Da Hitman Gets Hitched" series and got the urge to join the fun.  So take a moment to enjoy her side of our story -- I know I loved every word of it.

I’ve been reading Chris’ posts about how him and I came together in this relationship, and he’s really made me look like someone who was playing hard to get!  The truth of the matter is that I fell in love with him during that first night we went to the basketball game in Charlotte.  From the moment we got in the car to go to the arena, to the final moments of the night at his house when we were just talking, drinking wine, and listening to music by his outdoor fireplace, Chris was a perfect gentleman.  He completely respected me, and he completely respected my boundaries -- CHRIS. WAS. PERFECT. ;-)

THREE MONTHS, people!  That’s how long it took for Kenetria and I figure out we needed to turn our friendship into something more significant.  And once we did, we never looked back.  This pair was here to stay.

So when you love someone, you try to keep’em around, right?  Well, the only way I knew how to lock her down was to propose to her that she forever be my wife -- So I did.  And maaaan (haha)... The way I did it was real player.

Part 1: “My New Best Friend”

After some social networkin’ with Kenetria on Facebook and a FRIENDLY weekend of hanging out in Charlotte, my mind started to wander away from my initial intentions, which were to keep myself off the maritial-market.  I didn’t want to get involved in a relationship -- I just wanted to chill-out and live in the singles-circuit.  But, ya gotta remember... This is Kenetria we’re talking about - a girl who’s too sweet to sit on your sidelines.

On Sunday, the twenty-seventh of June, in the year twenty-ten, I’m marrying Kenetria Janelle Richardson, the love of my life.  I can’t wait.

I know this probably sounds a bit random, but I’m just sitting over here thinking about old school Nintendo’s “Super Tecmo Bowl.”  Reason being that a fan sent me a message on Facebook the other day (along with that sweet pic, above) that posed the most awesome question I’ve ever been asked...

Chris... If you were in the game Super Tecmo Bowl, would you be able to tackle Bo Jackson?

...I told you the question was awesome.

Oh, how I love to twinkle the ivory, every once in a while.  I’ll sit down in my chair, throw my fingers atop that keyboard, and just light it up.  There ain’t nuthin’ better than a little music to massage the mind.

I got something fresh for your Friday.  It's a song by Big Boi, called "Shutterbugg."  For the past few days, we've been playing it around the lockerroom.  And now that I've seen the video for it, I'm diggin' it even more.

I see that the NFL has awarded New York with the 2014 Super Bowl - I think that's pretty sweet.  It will be the first time a cold weather city has hosted the big game, and there's no better place than New York to have it - that is, if you like seeing 14-inches of snow sit on top of a football field.
